Local Service Area
Springboro was laid out in 1815 by Quaker settlers around the springs that once turned its mills, and it was the first city in Ohio to put up an Underground Railroad historic marker. Today it sits between Dayton and Cincinnati with newer subdivisions filling in around the old town center. On a newer brick or stucco home the track goes up flush with the fascia and disappears by day, then carries warm white all year and red and green in December without anyone climbing a ladder.
